In the spring of 2018 Jonathan Yeo was invited to talk at Google’s flagship event, Zeitgeist ‘18, as an ‘Inspiring Mind’ discussing his latest technological project in conversation with Yana Peel, CEO of the Serpentine Galleries. He completed the talk by giving a live demonstration and explanation of the Virtual Reality software that was in a integral part of the project.
As part of the his participation Jonathan collaborated with another of the guest speakers at the event, the model and activist Adwoa Aboah, whereby he created a brand new VR portrait of her. It was then 3D printed live throughout the two day expo and presented at the conclusion of Jonathan’s demonstration
Jonathan shared the same stage as international speakers such as Lyse Doucet, Malala Yousafzai, Esther Perel, Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Carney, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Adwoa Aboah, Sir Nick Clegg, Nicolas Sarkozy, Rose Gottemoeller and Jennifer Palmieri. Zeitgeist brings together brilliant minds from across Europe, the Middle East & Africa for two days of thought leadership, masterclasses and relaxation.
